There are even coffee shops where you can relax between shops. A Large Marks and Spencers has just opened here.

Scadbury Park

Scadbury Park

This is a wide area of grassland and woods joining St Pauls Cray with Chiselhurst. There are beautiful landscapes to be seen and hidden treasures to find, including a moted mannor house and some working stables. Archeological investigations seem to suggest that the area was settled around the thirteenth century. The fields and woodlands support a wide range of animals and wildlife, some of which can be seen on nature walks arranged by organisations such as 'Friends of Scadbury' and the RSPB. The area is used by local schools for science and nature investigations and it's a great place to walk the dog or take a stroll through yourself.
